Jan Janecký

HEAD OF PAINTING STUDIO

Jan Janecký finished his studies at the Glass Apprenticeship School in Nový Bor in 1996. After the graduation he founded his own glass painting studio. Currently, he studies Enviromental Design at Department of Arts at Technical University of Liberec.

He is well-known mainly for his unique work for crystal company Moser as well as the historical replicas of art glass, painting restoration of the historical stained glass windows. His solo design work though is fairly contemporary.

Petr Stehlík

HEAD OF GLASS CUTTING STUDIO

After finishing his glass cutting studies in the Glass School in Nový Bor, Petr Stehlík worked in different glass studios in the Czech Republic as well as in theUnited States of America. He has gained his renomé by restoring antique glass and creating art glass replicas for New York´s museums and private art collectors. The brands he worked on count among companies such as Lalique, Steuben, Galle, Baccarat, Orrefors, Hoya, Daum etc. Upon his return to North Bohemia couple of years ago he founded his own studio.

His work has been showned in several international exhibitions: Český Krumlov – gallery Doxa (2005), Coevorden (Netherlands) – gallery Arsenal (2008), Nový Bor – Glass Museum (2006). He has also won several prizes at “Arts and Crafts in Glass” competition (2003 and 2006). His individual work is also permanently represented in the collections of Glass Museum in Nový Bor and collected privately.

Jaroslav Šára

HEAD OF ENGRAVING STUDIO

After graduating from the Faculty of Art and Design, University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem, Jaroslav devotes himself to classic glass engraving and creating historical replicas.

His goal is to use this unique craft in a new context and find a corresponding use for it that is pure and luxurious.

He is involved as a teacher in many educational programmes, cooperating with professional institutions such as Pilchuck Glass School in the U.S. and many others abroad.

Michal Ullrich

HEAD OF SLUMPING AND FUSING STUDIO

Michal Ullrich has been working in glass industry for years now, following the glass tradition in his family that reaches back to 18th century. After a few years of cooperation with companies such as Lasvit or Preciosa, he founded his own studio, which nowadays has three glass shaping furnaces.He specializes mostly on architectual glass solutions, decorative interior partitions and pure contemporary design furniture of glass.

Zdeněk Kudláček

HEAD OF STAINED GLASS STUDIO

In 1993 he graduated from the Secondary School of Applied Arts for Glassmaking in Kamenický Šenov. At the end of the studies he founded his own studio, specializing in the manufacture and restoration of stained glass windows, the production of magnificent lighting sculptures using either refined flat glass or the crystal woven technique.

In 2009 he won the main prize of the art competition Craft and Art in Glass for a hand-painted stained glass on the motif of a portrait of African-American artist Wiley Kehinde. He has also been widely known for collaborating with Dutch artist Hans van Bentem.

Designers

Denisa Lisik Lukacova

After studying in 2010 at Haute école d‘art et de design in Switzerland, Denisa gained in 2013 her master degree in Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Since then she has worked for several companies abroad such as TJEP in Amsterdam or Lasvit in Dubai, London or Czech Republic.

With the design lighting "Pupa Light" she also won the main prize international contest Talent Design in 2012.

Hanka Vítková

Hanka has been working as a designer of lighting solutions for more than 15 years now.

In 2006 she completed her bachelor studies at the Technical University of Liberec, focused on glass and metal / interior design.
She had worked as designer and visualizator of lights for companies such as Preciosa, Sans-Souci, Qubus Design, Aldit etc.

Recently, her creative world has expanded to digital photography, printed graphics and watercolor portrait paintings..
